The Urban SUV is based on the 2014 Jazz platform. Therefore, expect to see a fair bit of common parts on the interiors as well as the mechanicals. Engines and transmissions are likely to be shared with the likes of the 2014 Jazz hatchback and City sedan models.

As the Urban SUV, like its name spells out, is intended to be a city slicker, front wheel drive should be dominant option. Honda might not offer an all wheel drive option, at least for the price conscious Indian car market. Expect to see the Honda Urban SUV on Indian roads in 2015, at a price north of those of the Renault Duster and the Nissan Terrano.
