Refreshed BMW Z4 launched at Rs. 68.9 lakh

BMW has launched the new, facelifted BMW Z4 S-Drive 35i roadster in two variants (both petrol), priced at Rs. 68.9 lakh and Rs. 69.9 lakh ex-showroom. The car was launched at Bavaria Motors, Pune, by  Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India. The Rs. 1 lakh extra is for the Design Pure Traction package, which comes with the unique Valencia orange color and upholstery.

Other colors include Alpine white, mineral grey, glacier silver, black sapphire, crimson red, deep sea blue, mineral white and Orion silver. In terms of design the car gets new headlights with corona rings and LED daytime lights, a new crease along the body line, and flared wheel arches.



It’s a convertible with the roof tucking in neatly into the boot, while all the controls are driver focussed. It is powered by a BMW TwinPower turbo six-cylinder, in-line petrol engine, with two turbochargers delivering 306 bhp of power. It can touch a top speed of 250 kmph, with a 0-100 kmph time of 5.1 seconds. It comes with a 7-speed automatic transmission with three drive modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+).

Safety features include four airbags, stability control, cornering brake control, brake assist, rollover protection and side impact protection.
